Abstract: The rapid development of economy makes the market competition increasingly fierce. Professionals are the key for enterprises to maintain market competitiveness. Especially for the metal manufacturing industry,which is a technology intensive industry,technical talents are the foundation of its foothold. The massive loss of enterprise technical personnel not only makes its daily business activities unable to operate smoothly,but also has a great impact on the long-term development of the enterprise. Therefore,the loss of technical personnel has become an important factor affecting its development. Wuxi OuTestar company is a metal manufacturing company. In recent years,the loss of technicians has become increasingly serious. This paper uses the methods of questionnaire and interview to investigate the reasons for the loss of technical personnel in Wuxi OuTestar company,and puts forward effective countermeasures and suggestions from the aspects of salary incentive,employee promotion and performance appraisal,in order to help Wuxi OuTestar company stabilize the professional and technical talent team and enhance the market competitiveness.
