due to后面跟名词，分词或者动名词，可以加句子但是不可以接从句。例句：The accident was due to bad driving.
due to用法
1、其后可接不定式，表示“将要...”。
例：The guests are due to arrive very soon.
客人很快就会到。
2、在due to词组中，bai表示“由于，因为”。 due to 主要引导表语，也可引导状语。
例：His absence was due to the storm.
他因暴风雨而缺席。
3、due to+n(名词)/doing sth 解释为由...导致。
